Oceanwide Expeditions is an award-winning shipping company focusing on ship voyages to the polar regions. Oceanwide Expeditions was founded 30 years ago from a university research program in the Netherlands, eventually becoming the first adventure expedition travel operator on the arctic island of Svalbard.

Oceanwide Expeditions operates a fleet of expedition cruise ships and recently added two new state-of-the-art luxury cruise ships to complement the growing fleet.

Oceanwide Expeditions focuses on small ship-based expedition cruises with an emphasis on promoting education, conservation and environmental sustainability. Visiting the most suggestive points of Antarctica such as, among others, the Peninsula, the Weddell Sea and the Ross Sea, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
